About the trainer
Pier Nauta started his career in early 2000 and from the very beginning he was fascinated by information security. A fascination that has never gone away. He gained his work experience at the government, a large consultancy and a big4 office. During this period, Pier has completed a large number of projects at a multitude of organizations, varying from ministries to multinationals to medium-sized and large SMEs. He has fulfilled several roles within these organizations. As an auditor and consultant, I have gained experience in particular on the organizational interfaces between business, ICT and information security.
Today, Pier is a freelance consultant and IT auditor under the company name Vidar Security. From this background he comments on current events and developments in the field of information security.
